The MLBPA’s Medical Advisor, Dr. John Mariani, is available to help connect Players (or family members) to mental wellness resources. Dr. Mariani can be reached at 718-530-5641 and any discussions will be completely confidential.  (No one, including MLBPA staff, will be informed of any calls without a Player’s direction and/or permission.) 
Players may also seek professional mental wellness assistance via the resources available under the Major League Players Benefit Plan.
